First day of Targa NL complete. Went smoothly, and the rain made things a little interesting. We are tied for 1st in Open Class right now, but today was "Prologue" day which doesn't count for anything so it remains to be seen how we will stack up against the competition. More updates to come and head over to Facebook to like our page if you haven't!

Thanks!

I am quite jealous. We talk about doing Targa every year but that big ol' entry fee stops us. Maybe next year. I assume there's no recce so what do you do for notes? Do they provide tulips? Something more detailed? Does the co-driver just point and hope he's right?

I never understood why Photography studios found it in their best interest to put huge fucking watermarks on everything they do and ruin the picture, especially since in this day and age, anyone with a decent (500$) camera and photoshop can replicate the quality pretty easily. It's like they're scared and they don't know how else to get the noteriety they used to have before technology made their business hard.

BUT ALL OF THAT ASIDE...

This sounds really awesome. I'll sure to keep up to date. What are the specs on the Integra, or at least the ones you would mind sharing?

It's to prevent theft. Photogs constantly find their work stolen and put up/sold someone else claiming it's theirs. There aren't many other ways for a photog to display his work and still keep it somewhat safe.

You're right, and it's a bad situation.

The thing is, the value of a good photograph has tanked in the last 10 years. It's both easier to steal/replicate, and it's easier to create. But studio operating costs are the same.

I just wish there was a better way for them to move with the times and evolve without having to ruin their pictures.
